What Customers Say About Ferrari Challenge:

This game was not fun, and the cars were diffcult to control. Poor design and poor graphics. Don't waste your money.

What separates this game from most other racing games is you have to use your breaking system and stick to a path that is the same every time you go around the circuit making it a game that you have to memorize each turn and corner, which to me is just plain boring when it comes to replay value. As for anything to discover, such as short cuts, boosts, anything like that, look for a different game as there is nothing of the sort in this one. Having only 1 car to choose from, and having to select your number and color of the car every single race became really annoying, but if you don't change your color, you are stuck with red, which makes the game look bland as every other car on the track is red too. There is no real feel of racing in this game. If you stick to the method, you can get way out in front with ease, and just boringly glide through for the win. I suppose if you had a steering wheel and pedals, this might seem ok, but it is a DS game, and it is just boring putting on the breaks a mile before a turn and following the same path line every time. There are plenty of better racing games on the DS then this one, I would really recommend you look into those ones if action racing is your thing, however if circuit racing like this is your sort of thing, you may love it.

I get a strong sense of speed and competition playing this game. The graphics are pretty good, and there is a variety of tracks and lighting. The tracks are challenging, requiring lots of concentration to accelarate in the straights, and stay on the track in the corners. I've played many PC racers, but this is my first time with DS.I enjoyed this game very much. I like my racers to be realistic, circuit type racing, and this is exactly what this provides. The opposition makes the race exciting, and generally they drive sensibly. The controls are difficult - this seems to come from the limited range of the DS controls, which seem to be simply Off or On, ie, full accelaration, or none, however, it just takes practice, and becomes absorbing. No frills in the graphics or gameplay.I found the training mode very helpful, where the system shows a racing line, and accelaration and braking points. The sounds are probably the best feature of the game. They give lots of feedback on your own car, and you can hear other cars distinctly, and "realistically" (of course, I don't really know what 8 Ferrari's on a race track sound like), and add to the immersion.

I really have nothing to say other than this game has great graphics, the gameplay also rocks. I feel it is very good.

My son did not liked this game at all. My husband loves Formula One so my son wanted this game. I should have saved the money because he hates it. Want to buy mine.
